South Florida Medical Research Team Announces New Clinical Trial

South Florida Medical Research has announced the launch of a brand new low testosterone medical research study. The clinical trial is for men with low levels of testosterone and will take place at the South Florida Medical Research facility in Aventura, Fl.

Low testosterone is a common complaint and one that affects millions of men in the USA. As it becomes more prevalent with age, experts estimate that around 10 – 25% of men over 50 years old suffer from low testosterone levels. A 2006 study in The International Journal of Clinical Practice pegged the number at 13.8 million American men older than 45. While estimates vary, what is certain is that the demand for testosterone replacement treatments are at a record high, suggesting the problem is more widespread than would first appear. Some analysts forecast that sales of low-testosterone treatments will more than triple between now and 2017 to total some $5 billion, a sure sign that the effects of low-testosterone are not set to disappear anytime soon.
